Instructions for Literacy 2012

Year 6 Classes.

Any child in a Year 6 class who is predicted to achieve Level 3 or lower should start Programme One in September 2011. If no child in the Y6 class is likely to achieve Level 3 or lower, the entire class should begin Programme 2 in September. Click on programme instructions to see the details.

Year 5 Classes.

All Children in Year 5 classes whose reading is vulnerable should start Programme One in September. This programme may be used alongside any phonics programmes which the class teacher already favours.

Year 3/4 Classes.

Any children in these classes whose reading is below the norm for this age group should be introduced to the Jumpstart programme. Click on the Jumpstart title to see details.
